I discovered Bouldering in October 2013 at the popular “Rat Rock” in Central Park. I saw a few climbers attempting a boulder problem so I boldly tried it for myself only to find myself laying on the ground… humbled but not defeated. At the time I felt it was impossible but I made it a point to finish that problem and a few months later I did. Flash forward 3 years and hundreds of ascents throughout the United States later and I’m still overcoming “my impossible”. Whether I’m bouldering Quartz rock in the Gunks, New York or the fine Sandstone in Red Rocks, Nevada I always use PrimoChalk. Having the reassurance that my grip won’t slip has greatly increased my performance and allows me to focus solely on the next move.
